REI designed and developed Asian Long-horned Beetle Eradication System
- ALBES (also known as Emergency Response Information System - ERIS)
to record and manage survey, treatment, removal, quality assurance,
regulatory and call log data that is essential for continual ALB program
operations. Application is integrated with wireless devices (PDA) to
support survey operations and GIS to produce thematic maps with program
data. ALBES application has become an integrated and unified platform
for ALB operations in New York, Illinois, and New Jersey.
ALBES application provides the following functional capabilities:
Support, data collection, tracking, quality assurance
and data management activities for all ALB processes such as survey,
treatment, removal, quality assurance, regulatory and call log
information through web-based applications.
Integration with
hand-held devices (PDA) to collect and upload survey data onto
ALBES.
Integration with GIS to display customized thematic
maps in the application using ESRI ( ArcSDE and ArcIMS ) products.
Downloads program specific data onto Excel sheet
format to share with contractors and co-operators.
Integrated
ad-hoc reports to build customized reports based on customer needs.
