Mitigation
REI is involved in the part of the MT eGrant system that supports
the Grants and Subgrants applicants during the phases of Application,
Awards acceptance, Application amendments/revisions and Post Award
reporting processes. The Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) and Flood Mitigation
Assistance (FMA) web-based grants system, popularly known as “MT
eGrants”, has been in production since April 2003. The FMA program
is ported from the client-server version NEMIS (National Emergency
Management Information System). In February 2003, the Pre-Disaster
Mitigation Competitive grants program (PDM-C) was approved and funded
by Congress. REI leveraged existing functionality developed for FMA/PDM,
and delivered the ability to process PDM-C grants applications through
eGrants Production on July 7, 2003.
