REI Systems Awarded Overseas Private Investment Corporation Web Application Development Contract FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Task Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement Will Support Web Enabling OPIC Business Processes Herndon, VA – January 17, 2008 - REI Systems (REI) announced today that it was awarded a 1-year Web Application Development Support task order by the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). REI will support OPIC in the operations and maintenance of its ASP/SQL Server based web environment, develop the strategy for the future web development platform, migrate legacy Lotus Domino applications to the new platform, and provide technical support. OPIC/OCIO intends to use this contract to mature and improve its Software Development Lifecycle while maintaining existing applications, standardizing around newly implemented enterprise applications, and improving application security. REI was awarded the task order under the OPIC Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA).The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) helps U.S. businesses invest overseas, fosters economic development in new and emerging markets, complements the private sector in managing the risks associated with foreign direct investment, and supports U.S. foreign policy.
