REI Systems Awarded Task Order for Financial Systems Integration Support at OPIC |
REI Systems supports the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) by providing data integration services using the Oracle eBusiness Suite |
| Herndon, VA – September 18, 2009 - REI Systems (REI) announced today that it has been awarded a task order for systems integration support for procurement and accounting applications at OPIC. REI staff will assist OPIC by integrating data from the agency’s procurement solution with the Oracle e-Business Suite. REI staff currently provide software development and application management services for OPIC’s Oracle application environment. REI has supported the OPIC since 2007 on a variety of CIO support tasks under a Basic Order Agreement. The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) helps U.S. businesses invest overseas, fosters economic development in new and emerging markets, complements the private sector in managing the risks associated with foreign direct investment, and supports U.S. foreign policy. OPIC’s mission is to mobilize and facilitate the participation of United States private capital and skills in the economic and social development of both less developed countries and areas, and countries in transition from non-market to market economies. Because OPIC charges market-based fees for its products, it operates on a self-sustaining basis at no net cost to taxpayers. “REI has been successful in supporting OPIC, winning task orders on the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), and helping OCIO to modernize the systems which support OPIC’s mission” says Veer Bhartiya, REI Systems President. “We are pleased that OPIC has selected us to expand our support of their Oracle eBusiness Suite.” |
